I think I saw that one...it was one of the more recent ones, yeah? I thought it was that they were the only ones smart enough to get the hell out when all the planets were stolen. Everyone writing that show is on drugs.

There was a Doctor Who episode that created a sci-fi theory about the honey bees. Something about the planets being stolen to an alternate universe, and the honey bees are following them, because of the way they track their paths back to their hives, but that takes them away from our universe... or something like that, I don't exactly remember. But in my head its a pretty cool image of a long trail of bees in with the stars. Now whenever it comes up in conversation, all I can think of is awesomely cheesy British sci-fi....

I think this one is the "snowicane". You're right, when did a bunch of snow falling get silly names, like ultimate fighting champions?
We'll be doing a LOT of snowshoeing today & tomorrow! :-)
(After we shovel out the world, of course.)

Snowshoeing! That sounds like exhausting fun. I bet you'll be able to get a lot of use out of those snowshoes with this snow-a-cane or whatever ridiculous thing they're calling this round of storms.

There's a great fish store a few blocks from my house in South Philly, Ippolitos. It reminds me of Metropolitan in a lot of ways, though since I'm always in Jersey for Christmas, I don't know if they get a super long line too. Its really great to have a place to get good fish and support a local business at the same time. Mmmmm.... I have some in the fridge that Chris picked up over the weekend just waiting to made into something delicious. Work can not end soon enough!

I'm sure we could convert them to poncho fans.

I have to do more research on the specific breed (I'm procrastinating!), we'd be getting them for eggs and tick/bug control.

Wow!
That's awesome! Let's bring along the chicken ponchos when we go: nothing real farmers love more than ad agency escapees with lil outfits for their poultry.

What kind of chickens are you getting? For eating, for eggs, or for running around in the yard?
